Welcome toย the Metcal eShop (โeShopโ), accessible at www.shopmetcal.com. By creating an account, accessing or placing an order through this eShop, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.General
The eShop is operated by Metcal Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd (โMetcalโ, โweโ, โusโ, โourโ). We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of the eShop constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.ย
2.Customer Registration
To place an order, customers must register for an account. You agree to provide and maintain accurate, current and complete information, keep account credentials confidential and accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account. Metcal reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of misuse or violation of these Terms.
3.Products
Product colors, descriptions, images and specifications are provided for reference only and may vary from actual products. We may revise product details, pricing, availability, limit quantities or discontinue products at our discretion without prior notice.
4.Orders and Paymentย
All orders must be placed through the eShop, with customers responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information. An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order only and does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs only when the order has been processed and dispatched. Payments are processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) viaย the third-party payment provider (Stripe) and we do not store full payment details. Metcal reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order due to stock unavailability, payment issues, pricing errors or suspected fraudulent activity.
5.Shipping and Delivery
Delivery areas, timelines, methods and shipping charges are set out on the Shipping & Delivery page and form part of these Terms.
6.Cancellation, Return and Exchange
Only products that areย defective or Dead on Arrival (DOA)ย due to manufacturing defects are eligible for replacement, subject to verification by Metcal and product availability. No refunds are provided and no returns are accepted for reasons other than verified defects (e.g., change of mind or incorrect selection).
7.Warranties and Liability
Product Warranty
Products are covered solely by the manufacturerโs warranty. Warranty details are available on the product page. The warranty doesย notย cover normal wear and tear, consumables, misuse or improper handling.
Calibration Services (if applicable)
Calibration services are provided only when selected at purchase. No warranty applies except for errors attributable to Metcal. Issues must be reported withinย one (1) weekย of receipt.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metcal is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data, business interruption or loss of profit. Metcalโs total liability does not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product.
8.Modifications and Service Interruptions
Metcal reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any product or service at any time without notice. The eShop may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues and we are not liable for any loss arising from such interruptions.
9.Privacy and Data Protection
Metcal is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By using the eShop, you consent to the collection, use and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10.Intellectual Property
All content on the eShop, including text, graphics, logos and images, is the property of Metcal and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.

12.Force Majeure
Metcal is not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions or government actions.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws ofย Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
